Data security
A company's data stays its own. We separate it inside the database, control who sees it and back it up encrypted.
Separation inside the database
Every row belongs to exactly one company. The database itself refuses to read another company's rows, and the app's own account cannot bypass that rule.
Two roles: administrator and dispatcher
Dispatchers work with trips; administrators also hold the account settings and the log.
Change log
The main actions in the account, with who and when, in the administrator's view.
Controlled support access
When the Vaelor team needs to look at the account, access is read-only, needs a written reason, closes after 30 minutes and appears in the company's register.
Passwords stored hashed
Passwords are kept only as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text.
Encrypted backups
The database is copied encrypted (AES-256) and also kept off the server.
